REVOTEES / CREATEES

IP & Compliance Guide

CREATEES is for original ideas, licensed artwork and good trouble — not somebody else’s intellectual property or harmful content.

GOOD TO GO

What you can add

  • Artwork, photographs and text you created yourself.
  • Assets you have a valid commercial licence or written permission to use.
  • Original names, phrases and personal messages that do not infringe someone else’s rights.
  • Customer photos when you have permission from the people shown.
  • Revotees Design Vault artwork offered for CREATEES customization.
PLEASE DON’T

What you cannot upload or type

  • Copyrighted or trademarked material you do not have rights to use — including logos, brand names, characters, artwork, photographs, slogans, team marks and protected designs.
  • Fan art or “inspired by” copies that closely reproduce a protected character, logo, brand identity or commercial design.
  • Celebrity or private-person imagery where you do not have the necessary permission or publicity rights.
  • Harassment, threats or targeted abuse toward a specific person.
  • Hateful or violent content that attacks or promotes violence against people based on protected characteristics.
  • Child sexual exploitation or sexualized content involving minors in any form.
  • Illegal content or instructions that facilitate criminal activity or unlawful conduct.
  • Personal, confidential or highly sensitive information such as passwords, payment-card details, government ID numbers or private data you are not authorized to publish.
  • Content promoting self-harm, terrorism or violent extremist organizations.
  • Explicit sexual or obscene content that Revotees or its production partners cannot reasonably print or fulfil.

Text counts too

The same rules apply to words entered in CREATEES. A design can be original and still cause a problem if the text uses a protected brand, slogan, character name or other third-party property without permission.

Not sure if you have the rights?

Don’t upload it yet. Check your licence, obtain permission from the rights holder, or use an original Revotees Design Vault option instead. Claims such as “parody”, “fan art” or “fair use” do not automatically make commercial merchandise lawful.

Revotees review

Revotees may refuse, pause or cancel a CREATEES order when submitted artwork or text appears to infringe third-party rights, violates these content rules, or cannot be responsibly produced. You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit.

This guide is a practical content policy, not legal advice.
